OVERVIEW:
Year-long fellowship program that meets APTA/AAOMPT credentialing. Advanced training in managing acute or chronic spinal dysfunctions. Meets AAOMPT clinical and didactic education requirements. Graduates will qualify for attaining FAAOMPT credentials. FACULTY:

CURRICULUM:
442 hours - Mentored/Supervised Clinical Practice. 130 hours - 1:1 Direct Clinical Supervision. 200 hours - Theory, Cognitive, and Science in OMPT Knowledge Areas. 163 hours - Lab Instruction in OMPT Assessment and Treatment. 1,728 hours - Unsupervised Clinical Practice. CURRICULUM INCLUDES:
Mentoring residents. Weekly peer reviewed journal article reviews related to spine care. Teaching experience in orthopedic manual therapy by DPT Seminars. REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an APTA credentialed orthopedic residency program. And/or Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification. APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor certification. APTA/AAOMPT membership. Valid Oregon physical therapy license. Current CPR certification. Comply with all Riverside Physical Therapy employment requirements.
